Yes. The browser build on this site runs directly in your browser through Unity WebGL. Use a modern browser for the best experience. If performance is poor, try the itch.io app or the downloadable Windows version.

Is Trees Hate You free?

The public demo is free to play in-browser or to download from itch.io. The full game is planned for a 2026 Steam release. No price has been announced yet.

What are the controls?

Keyboard: WASD or arrow keys. Controller: left stick works as well. No mouse input is required for gameplay.
